Avini, Menachem (Menachemi)

Son of Miriam and Ovadia, was born on 12.2.1917 in Aden. He immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1921 and lived in Holon. He was about to marry, but a few days before the marriage he went into action where he was wounded in the head. Menachem died at the Dajani Hospital in Jaffa on the 5th of Elul 5708 (24.9.1948) and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Nahalat Yitzhak.
