Avidov (Ovedov), Benjamin (Benny)

Son of Naomi and Yerachmiel. Born in 1925 in Haifa, Benny attended the “Netzach Israel” elementary school in his city and was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement, where he practiced sports and practiced light athletics at Maccabi. He joined the ranks of the Haganah and enlisted in the Guard Corps on April 16, 1944. He died after a short illness at the Rambam Hospital and was laid to rest at the Hof Hacarmel cemetery In Haifa. He left parents, two brothers and a sister.
