Son of Saleh and Tarzan. He was born on August 18, 1958, in Kfar Saba. Here he went through the stages of his education from kindergarten through the son of-Zvi elementary school to the “Onim” pre-military school in Kfar Saba, and completed his studies successfully. His teachers said he was an outstanding student and entrepreneur. Menachem lived a rich social life. Friendship and industriousness combined his personality. His manner of speaking, his kindness and his special smile – they bought the hearts of the people around him, thanks to that he had many friends. There was something piercing in his penetrating gaze from the distance, ambition, and stubbornness. Menahem had his own private world, and his feelings, experiences and thoughts were shared with his friends and friends. He was a quiet, somewhat withdrawn man, but thanks to his rich social life, he had overcome many obstacles in his life. Menachem was conscripted into the army on May 10, 1976, and immediately volunteered to serve in the Paratroopers Brigade, although he tried to enlist him in the Corps of Ordnance, thanks to his previous professional training. To carry out small and large tasks, and always trust him until he was nicknamed ‘the volunteer.’ “On May 10, 1977, Menahem fell in the line of duty when he was not yet 19, in a helicopter crash in the Jordan Valley. In this disaster, 54 soldiers were killed, Menachem was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kfar Saba, and left behind his parents and thirteen sisters and brothers in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family.
