Avichsor, Joseph (Jojo)
Son of Jacob and Esther. Born in May 1946 in Casablanca, Morocco, the family immigrated to Israel when the son reached the age of 9. Until eighth grade, he attended an elementary school, but due to the family’s poor financial situation he left school, devoted himself to work and supported the household. He was also a subcontractor, he also studied waitresses at the Tadmor Hotel in Herzliya Beach, and in this work he proved his responsibility and diligence, he was naturally full of joy and always had a smile on his lips. Gadna course and participated in several marches. In February 1964 he was drafted into the IDF, but at any time he was willing to help his family, who was in poor condition and needed help, and after eight months of service he was released from military service. And on 26 June 1967, the first day of the battles, he fell in a battle that took place in the Umm Kataf area of Sinai, when his cannon was flared by a shell, he was buried in the military cemetery in Bari and then transferred to eternal rest in the cemetery in Ashdod.
