Avdi, Zion

Son of Tziona and Sa’adia, was born on July 17, 1951, in Hatzor Haglilit, in a family with many children. In May 1969, he enlisted in the Artillery Corps and completed his regular service on the day of the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War on October 6, 1973. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant. On the night of 27 July 1982, he fell when he was 31 years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Ramle, leaving a pregnant wife, son, two daughters.
