Aval, Ora

Daughter of Shlomo and Chaya. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Jerusalem. She graduated from Beit Hakerem High School. She belonged to the dance troupe on behalf of the Histadrut. Was conscripted into the IDF in September 1962 and on the 3rd of Adar 5724 (February 16, 1964) died and was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. In her memory, the parents contributed books to the Jerusalem Municipality’s mobile library. They also donated a sum of money to charity, and by doing so, her name was immortalized on a marble slab set on the wall.
