Avad, Reuven

Son of Salim and Haviva. Born in 1938 in Baghdad, capital of Iraq, he was a fifth grader in an elementary school when he immigrated to Israel and when he arrived he continued his studies there. And fell in the midst of Abu-Agila in the Sinai Campaign on the 26th of Mishvan 5710 (October 31, 1956). He was buried in the Military Cemetery of the Emergency Army in Shelah and on the 12th of Cheshvan 5718 (November 6, 1957) he was taken to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
