Aussie, Israel


Israel (David), son of Varda and Aziz was born on December 30, 1952 in Kfar Yavne. He studied at Bialik Elementary School in Yavneh. Due to the difficulties of earning a living at home, Israel could not continue his studies and was forced to help his father in his shop in order to ease his workload. Israel was a member of the Working and Studying Youth Movement in Yavneh and was one of the activists in the movement. He was a sports fan and participated in soccer competitions held by youth clubs in Kfar Yavne. He also loved pop music and dance music. Israel knew how to be fond of adults and his peers and was very popular with his friends. He was cheerful and Simcha, loved to help others, honest and conscientious, a loyal and dedicated son to his parents. Israel was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1970. After completing his basic training, he took part in a course for heavy truck drivers and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps and was able to stand firm in his opinion. Of the Suez Canal, after the war ended, he was placed in a new armored division, which was established at the time, on the 17th of Adar 5734 (17.3.1974), he was brought to rest at the cemetery in Yavneh, Mother, four brothers and four sisters, and his parents donated a Torah scroll to his synagogue in Kfar Yavne.
