Asus, Chaim
Son of Moshe and Mendina. Born on 10 October 1950 in Tripoli, Libya, he immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1950. When he reached the age of school, he attended elementary school and later in a vocational school and was a printer. And was assigned to the Armored Corps. But before he completed his compulsory service, he fell in the course of his duties in the vicinity of Jericho on the 11th of Sivan 5728 (7.6.1968). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. His commander wrote a letter of condolence to his parents on behalf of the soldiers and commanders of the unit, who was “one of the best and most beloved soldiers of the company and helped his comrades take an active part in social life.”
