Asulin, Mordechai (“Moti”)
Son of Yehuda and Aliya. He was born on the 11th of Adar 5707 (March 6, 1947) in Casablanca, Morocco, and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1952. He studied at the Habonim elementary school in Kiryat Bialik, but after completing his studies the family was unable to afford high school expenses At an early age and so help his parents. In his workplace, he studied machine technicians. He was very devoted to work, loved her, valued his work givers, and did his work faithfully. He was a good friend, gentle, understanding every man and adult in his approach to life. He knew how to behave with adults and with young people alike. He was punctual and kept his promises to his parents and his wife. At a young age, he married a wife and was very careful about his honor and the honor of his parents. Although he was busy with his work, he completed high school at evening high school and passed his matriculation exams. All this was done to improve and secure his future and the future of his family. Moti was drafted into the IDF in mid-May 1967. Since he supported his parents, he served in the IDF for only one year and then served as a reservist. Although he had a short period of service, he did it efficiently and loyally, and was able to like his comrades in arms and win the prestige of his commanders. At the beginning of May 1970 he was called to active reserve duty. On May 21, 1971, he fell in the line of duty. He left a wife. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa.
