Asulin, Hanania

Son of Machlouf and Isha. He was born on July 15, 1922 in Marrakech, Morocco. After completing his studies at the Alliance elementary school in his hometown, Hanania found his livelihood, first as a barber and later as a singer, and did so until he immigrated to Israel in 1962. Due to his age, he was not called up for reserve service. In his civilian life he was a dedicated worker, a model and loved by all his acquaintances. On the 11th of Kislev, 5711 (11.11.1969), he was killed in the course of his duties, when an enemy was shot in the area of ​​Ashdot Ya’akov, leaving behind a wife and six children.
