Asulin, Asher
Asher was born in 1955 in Morocco and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1963. In Israel, he studied at the Moriah religious elementary school in Afula and at the “Miftan” vocational school in Migdal Haemek, where he was an excellent student. He was a sports enthusiast and devoted himself to the weight-lifting industry, loved to listen to music, participated in folk dance and songwriting, and was a sensitive, honest, cheerful and loyal boy. In the year before his enlistment in the IDF, he was a locksmith. Who was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1973 and assigned to the Artillery Corps, and after completing basic training he was trained in a field artillery course. He maintained contact with his family, made sure to call home, and never complained about the difficulties in the army’s life, even after hard training.
