Assouline, Raphael (“Rafi”)


Son of Eliyahu and Hasiba. He was born in 1938 in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco, where he died in 1953, and since then, until his wedding day, Rafi supported his father and sisters when he came to Israel in 1956. He joined the kibbutz and loved to work in the garden. On the second day of the battles of the Six-Day War, when the enemy plane crashed in the camp, Raphael fell in the line of duty in the unit where he served (the Civil Defense Unit), on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (6.6). 1967), a wife was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
