Assad, Ayman


Ben Zaid and Assad, members of the Druze community. He was born on December 27, 1969 in the village of Usfiya. He grew up in his village. At the end of his elementary studies he applied for mechanical training at the ORT vocational high school. He was a strong, athletic guy who was a karate as a hobby. He discovered musical talent, except for another, and accompanied his playing with singing. Ayman loved animals and raised dogs and snakes with devotion and love. In August 1988, he was drafted into the IDF and assigned to serve as a locksmith in a workshop for armored personnel carriers in the Israel Defense Forces On January 2, 1989, Ayman fell in a road accident near Daliyat al-Carmel, while driving a civilian car, while Ayman strayed in the opposite direction, bumping into a concrete bridge, and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Usfiya. He left behind his parents, six brothers – Assam, Abin, Walid, Raoq, Safi and Rabia, and five sisters – Akbar, In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “In this terrible accident, one of the sons of a family who tied her fate with the State of Israel and took part in all the systems to ensure her security was taken from us in his youth.
