Ashkenazi, Yitzhak (Jean)


Son of-Eliezer and Stella. Born on October 6, 1917 in the city of Kreved, Romania, he received most of his education abroad: After graduating from high school in the city where he was born, he studied for three years in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bucharest, capital of Romania. He served in the navy in December 1949. He was drafted into the army in January 1950 and served as a military sergeant in January 1950. He loved classical music and even light music, not only collecting records but also his knowledge of music theory.
