Ashkenazi, Moshe


Son of Esther and Yitzhak, was born on January 10, 1930, in Jerusalem, where he studied at the “Kol Israel Haverim” school and then at the boys’ school in Tel Aviv. In the flour mill in Tel Aviv, was a devoted son to his elderly parents and took care of all their needs: On the day he was busy with his work and his evenings he devoted himself to his studies, he was a serious boy more than his age, and he had been a member of the Haganah since. He was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” and “Gordonia” movements and was known as a good athlete, and immediately left the job, volunteered and served in the Givati ​​Brigade, and participated in operations in Jabalya, Beit Dagon, See Yazur. On C”h Adar II Independence (08/04/1948), standing guard in Bat Yam, was wounded by a bullet and fell sniper at the age of eighteen years. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
