Asher, Alfred (Avraham)


Son of Ogan. He was born on 2.9.1910) in Germany. He spent two years in a pioneering training program in Latvia and received a permit to immigrate to Israel. He immigrated to Palestine in September 1934 and joined Kibbutz Givat Brenner. Alfred worked first in the orchards, and after the riots of 1936 he went to guard duty and here, as in his daytime work, he fulfilled his duty with dedication and precision. On September 14, 1938, he was buried in Givat Brenner and left a pregnant wife, and his daughter, who was named after him, was born eight months later.
