Son of-Hanna and David, was born on December 27, 1928 in Tel Aviv and attended the Yavneh School. Even as a child he was very impressed by the heroic death of Trumpeldor and his friends and often made a wish and a desire to fall as a hero. He joined Maccabi Hatzair and later Maccabi and excelled in his love for nature and sport. After some time, he moved to Ramat Gan with his parents, was active in the Gadna and completed his studies at the “Haskala” Gymnasium in Tel Aviv, and his duties to the home and parents prevented him from going on to prepare for the Maccabee movement as he wished. At the same time, he began studying at the Law and Economics High School in Tel Aviv. In mid-December 1947 he was drafted into full service. He served in the Alexandroni Brigade, was sent to the brigade commanders’ course, completed successfully, returned to his company and participated in all its activities in the conquest of Tel Litvinsky, Arab Kfar Saba, Tantura, Kakun, Wilhelma, Dir-Tarif, Kula, Ein Ghazal, During the first break, he underwent a sports-symbolic course so that he could be of benefit to his people in restful and refreshing recreation during vacation days, but refused to be appointed sports instructor. And to leave the combat service, because, as he wrote to his fiancee, “every soldier who does not go to battle is not a man but a parasite.” He was a bit surprised and even angry at himself for not knowing the fear of even the most dangerous actions, and indeed he did not know fear even when he left – a little while before On 28 December 1948. During Operation Horev, a “liquidation” operation was carried out, which was meant to liquidate the Egyptian “pocket” in Al-Manshiyya. “The Peluja pocket,” in which an Egyptian brigade was besieged. The attack took place on the eastern flank of the “pocket” in the area of Iraq al-Manshiyya. Forces “Alexander” burst into the village from the south and took over the part, but the assault was repulsed mound north of the village. Meanwhile, the Egyptians recovered and attacked and forced our forces to withdraw. Part of the force remained trapped inside the village. The Egyptians attacked the grenades with the position he was with his soldiers. Yeshayahu managed to throw back two grenades but the third grenade exploded and killed him. He was buried in Faluja.
