Artel, Zvi (Moshe)
Son of Esther and David. He was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1925. In 1925, his family immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Jerusalem, where he studied at the “Tachkemoni” school and at the “Alliance” school in Haifa, He worked as an electrician in evening classes, worked in the British army garages and in the evening worked as an electrician at the Haifa refineries, where he was active in the “Maccabi Hatzair” sports association where he played handball and basketball and later participated in a number of underground activities, Nahal Naaman (2.4.1946). Sivan Hospital (17.6.1946) was one of the attackers of the railway workshops in Haifa, which was meant to cause disruptions in the means of transport of the British.
