Arnold, Aviram

Son of Fanny and Joseph. Born on July 25, 1969 in Bat Yam, the family moved to Moshav Dikla in northern Sinai, where he began his studies at the Absalom Elementary School in the Rafah suburb, In China and finished high school at the Habsor School in the Eshkol region. Among his family and friends was his permanent nickname Avi. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement first as an apprentice and later as a counselor. One of his favorite hobbies was sports. He trained in the youth team of the Eshkol Regional Council, but he also liked drawing and interest in biology. Born in a seaside town, he loved the sea and spent a lot of time on the beach, but he also loved riding motorcycles. With the signing of the peace agreements and the evacuation of Sinai, the family was forced to move again and move to Moshav Ein Habesor, which was established after the evacuation. Prior to his induction into the IDF, he trained to be accepted into an elite unit and was drafted into the army in November 1988 and was assigned to serve in the Golani reconnaissance unit, to his full satisfaction. My father fell in the course of his duty in an arms accident on 9 November 1989 and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva, where his parents, brother and sister, Guy and Sarit, were placed in a posthumous condolence letter. The bereaved commander wrote his father’s constant smile and peace of mind and the great motivation that guided his activity.
