Arkash, Sasson


Son of Tamar and Mansur, was born on December 24, 1951 in Rosh HaAyin, and completed his studies at the Ohel Shem elementary school. As a young boy, Sasson had to go to work to help support the family. Sasson was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in late March 1976. After basic training, he served as an assistant to a disciplinary commander and after six months of service, his commanders wrote an excellent opinion: a disciplined soldier devoted to his job, diligent and orderly, . After completing his regular service, Sasson asked to be accepted into the career army as a truck driver, and made efforts to raise his medical profile. He left behind his parents, three brothers and four sisters. After his death he was awarded the Peace of the Galilee.
