Arditi, Chaim Yehonatan


Son of Rivka Michel and Joshua. Born in New York, United States, on the 14th of Adar II, Purim March 21, 1989. On November 20, 2007 he was drafted in the IDF. Chaim was stationed in the infantry brigade “Kfir”, the “Lavi” battalion. After being a soldier in basic training and being discovered as a life sniper, he was sent to the infantry sniper course at the Adam base, which he successfully completed. He was assigned to the sniper lions. Chaim loved military service despite all the difficulties on the way. He overcame every crisis, and as the date of his release approached, he even signed forms for a permanent army service. During his service, he was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant. Chaim died during his service on the 6th of Av, July 17, 2010. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv, leaving his parents and four brothers.
