Ben Aliza and Yosef. Born on 14 February 1976 in Jerusalem, to a family of four. The family happily welcomed the youngest son and gave him love and comfort. From the age of one to three, Avivi was a favorite of the caretakers at the WIZO home. A mischievous toddler with a gold heart in his curls. In kindergarten, the teachers enjoyed its vibrant and tireless quality. He completed his elementary studies at the religious school “Neve Etzion”. Avivi was a diligent student, beloved and accepted by the students, who captivated the hearts of his teachers and friends with the charm of his mischievousness and acumen. In fifth grade he began his activities in the Bnei Akiva movement. With great devotion, he gave his friends the values ​​he absorbed in the home, the values ​​of culture, the country, love of the land and love of man. He had a special combination of mischievousness with stubbornness, self-confidence, and an overwhelming presence, and thanks to all this he got what he wanted. He devoted many hours to the “branch” and contributed greatly to his abundant vitality. Avivi continued his studies at the Himmelfarb High School. He devoted less to theoretical studies, and showed a special interest in computers, the profession he excelled in. He completed his studies in the 12th grade at the external “Lachman” school, and the independent and mature young man wanted to prove his independence financially as well, so he worked in every casual job, not only during the holidays, but also during his studies. He joined the staff of the Ministry of Education and quickly devoted himself to the areas he loved, such as trips and festivals, and in August 1994 Avivi joined the IDF in the Givati ​​Brigade. At first, he was not pleased with the choice, but after a while he could enjoy what was offered to him and the good guys in the company. Avivi was sent to a sniper course and graduated with honors. On Sunday, 9.4.1995, Avivi was critically wounded in a hostile attack in Kfar Darom in Gush Katif; He died of his wounds on 10 April 1995. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl and was survived by his parents, two sisters – Tamar and Shuli, and my uncle’s brother. A member of the Bnei Akiva tribe wrote in his obituary: “The good measure I remember of you is your good and innocent heart. You never had bad intentions.
