Dina’s daughter and uncle. She was born on the eve of Shabbat, June 3, 1983 in Tel Aviv. Eleanor was a playful, lively child. She visited the private kindergarten “Meira” and later in “Gan Shosh” and “Gan Margalit” in the Afeka neighborhood. She completed her elementary studies at the “Ramat Aviv Gimel” elementary school, and continued on to the junior high and high school “Alliance”, where she completed her studies in a bilingual program. During high school, Elinor was the leader of the class and the “lawyer” of anyone who needed help, support and backing. In her charm and radiant personality she captivated all her surroundings. The lover of teachers and principal, pursues justice and strives for the truth that has always been her guiding light. Eleanor was active in the Scouts movement, which she joined in the fourth grade, and continued her activities over the years, during which she even trained for two years. Her obvious inclination to art was expressed in paintings she often painted and in other handicrafts. She spent her great love for the horses at the Yagur Farm, where she had been doing professional riding for seven years. Ballet also invested her time, and for three years studied ballet school in Ramat Aviv. At the beginning of March 2002, Eleanor enlisted in the IDF, and she was motivated and willing to contribute and advance. Elinor was appointed to serve as a lieutenant colonel, but in light of her high personal data, she was assigned to the Israel Air Force and was elected to serve in the headquarters of the Head of the Personnel Directorate at the headquarters under Brigadier General Raz. She carried out the assignments in the office of then-Air Force Commander Dan Halutz. After a short period of service in the office, she was sent to an officer’s course. Elinor was an addict to the army in all its aspects, and her military service served as a wish for her, a way of life and a place where she could fulfill her wonderful ability to give. . At the beginning of December 2003 she began her regular service and she is only at the beginning of the road. Eleanor was “salt of the earth” and above all, with a sense of justice and integrity developed. A lively girl who, even when she contracted a serious illness, fought her stubbornly and did not give up. On the 14th of Av 5765 (August 14, 2005), Eleanor fell in the line of duty and left her family in pain and stunned, and she was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
