Arazi, Mordechai
Son of Moshe and Chaya. He was born on January 10, 1926, in Nahalal, about a year before his parents immigrated to their village in Kfar Yehoshua, with its founders and founders. Mordechai studied at the elementary school in the village and completed his studies there, and later attended a youth-moshav seminar at Beit Hakerem. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. In the years 5706-1948 he participated in several Palmach operations, but after the UN was forced to return home, his older brother was required to return to the ranks of the fighters. During the War of Independence, he participated in various battles in the framework of Hish (Jenin, Bethlehem, Nazareth and Tzemach). Afterward he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Nahal Brigade. Was a candidate for an officers’ course. But a month before the beginning of the course, on the ninth of Tevet 5711 (18.12.1950), he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Yehoshua.
