Arazi (Feinbaum), Israel


Son of Yaakov and Ethel. He was born on the 17th of Tishrei 5708 (21.9.1947) in Kibbutz Dan, and completed his twelfth grade in the kibbutz educational institution. He then worked in agriculture, especially field crops. In November 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and served as a lieutenant colonel in the paratroopers’ unit, but on the 21st of Adar 5728 (March 21, 1968) he fell in retaliation against the Jordanian sabotage bases, known as Operation Karameh (a town east of the Jordan, The enemy of the Israeli territory), was talented and excelled in his actions, admired for his commanders and subordinates, was considered an efficient soldier who carried out his duties to the full satisfaction of his commanders, was brought to rest in Kibbutz Dan, and was raised to the rank of lieutenant on the day of his death. In the booklet that appeared in memory of Yitzhak Kotler who fell in the tribe of January 1970, a list was published Israel’s memory. In Volume 4 of “Goily Ash”, the bag of the estate of the sons who fell in Israel’s wars, was brought from his estate.
