Son of Sarah Beila and Yitzhak Shlomo. He was born in 1912 in Kaunas, Lithuania, and studied in the city’s Gymnasium in 1935. He joined the kibbutz in the Upper Galilee in 1935. During World War II he joined the British Army and was assigned to the British Expeditionary Force. On October 13, 1942 he was wounded and died of his wounds. He was laid to rest at the British military cemetery in Tobruk, in Cyrenaica, Libya.
