Ankori, Giora (“Gigi”)

Son of Israel and Fira (Esther). He was born on 15.9.1943 in Givat Hashlosha (Einat). At the age of four, you gave birth to his father, who went on a mission to the She’erit Hapletah camps in Germany and grew up and was educated on the kibbutz. He completed his studies in the 11th grade in high school and then went to work in the farm, was a member of the Einat farm, was connected to the kibbutz and the children’s youth association and was ready to fulfill any obligation, was drafted into the IDF in August 1961, and despite being an only child, Paratroopers. He fell on the 26th of Iyar 5762 (May 30, 1962) while fulfilling his duties and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. His memory was mentioned in the book “The Paratroop Wars” by Uri Milstein.
