Son of Shalom and Gracia. He was born on May 3, 1954, in the city of Paz, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1962. He spent his first two years in Morocco. On May 5, 1974, Daniel fell in battle in the Golan Heights, when he was wounded when he was in the position at Tel Antar, on the Golan Heights, where he was evacuated to a hospital where he died of his wounds and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Netanya.
