Amsalem, Lior

Son of Zippora and Jacob. He was born on the 12th of Shevat 5742 (February 2, 1982) at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Brother to Elon, Elad and Adi. Lior attended the Levin Elementary School in Beit Shemesh and the First High School. He was very interested in art and was loved by it. Lior loved to help at home, always cared for his brother and tried to help them with everything. In November 2000, after completing his high school studies, Lior enlisted in the IDF as a security officer and at the base of Tel Hashomer, where he served as a security officer and as the personal driver of the unit commander. On March 18, 2003, Lior was killed in a traffic accident at the age of 20. Lior was buried in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, leaving behind his parents, two brothers and a sister
