Amsalem, Eli

Son of Sarah and Masoud, was born on the 18th of Tishrei 5714 (27.9.1953) in Marrakech, Morocco. He lived in Morocco until he was nine years old, and in 1962 he immigrated to Israel with his family, who settled in Ma’alot.
Eli was drafted into the IDF in early August 1971 and assigned to serve in the Nahal Brigade. On the 11th of Tevet 5741 (17.12.1980) he fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the Ma’alot cemetery.
