Amrani, Mordechai
Son of Moshe and Tous. He was born on May 22, 1954 in Kiryat Shmona. He studied at the Brenner School in Tel Aviv. After graduating from elementary school, he began to study carpentry. He worked in the carpentry shop and in the meantime acquired the profession, and with the wages he received, he helped his family, who was in financial difficulty. Mordechai was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of April 1972. After completing basic training, he was trained in a heavy truck, after which Mordechai was transferred to the supply force and was trained in a mobile fueling system. “He stayed in the Sinai because of the great distance from his family, who was very attached to them, and kept them as close as he could and even requested a special leave so that he could work outside for a while and help his family in their economic distress. His comrades in the unit say that in every field he was asked to engage in, he knew what he was talking about and contributed his part willingly and lovingly. “
