Ben Yaffa and David. He was born on 29.6.1973 in Kibbutz Barur Chayil. When he was about three, the family moved to Moshav Hazeva in the Arava. Niv attended the Shitim Regional School and was loved by his teachers and friends. In a letter of consolation sent to the family, his teacher wrote: “If you can define you, more than anything you could say that you were a man …” Niv was a lot of sports. As a teenager, he began training in Karate and a year later won first place in the Southern Boys’ Championship. Prior to his induction he sought to improve his physical fitness and participated in the physical fitness department. In his athletic activity, he expressed his persistence and adherence to the goal that characterized him during his military service as well. My love-life and friendship was a dialect and always knew how to support my family and friends and be loyal. After graduating he traveled with a friend to a motorcycle trip in Greece. Niv enlisted in the IDF in November 1991 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, although he failed to fulfill his desire to serve in the Golani Brigade because of a flaw in vision. And on the 25th of Tishrei 5753 (25.10.1992) he fell in battle in Lebanon when the convoy he was traveling in was hit by an explosive charge, A side near the village of Kauchba, Niv was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the Moshav Hazeva cemetery Uri, and sister Gali, and his friends took out a pamphlet in his memory bearing his name.
