Amer, Malak


Ben Rasmia and Ali. Was born on March 19, 1979 in Yanuh-Jatt, a Druze village in the Upper Galilee. A second child to his parents, a brother to Amer, Rami, and Hibbe and Ilan. “Malek was born with a pure smile and a beautiful face,” his father says, “and was accepted into the family with warmth and love.” Malak studied at the elementary school in Kfar Yanuh, and completed his studies successfully in the regional Amal regional high school. Was a beloved and respected student and had acquired a group of close friends in his high school that had accompanied him ever since. In the mouth of his close friends Malik was affectionately called “king.” In addition to his studies, Malak was active, as a trainee and later as a counselor, in the branch of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement in his village. He was careful to take part in any social activity in the village or in the area. In his spare time, Alec is engaged in sports, especially karate and running. In August 1997, Malak enlisted in the IDF and began his service in the Armored Corps, and was very proud of his service in the IDF and the military. After his regular service in August 2000, Malak continued to serve in the Ordnance Corps. He served in the Jordan Valley and took a number of positions, all of which he carried out with great loyalty and vigor, and with a great smile that was always on his face, even in difficult moments. During his service on September 17, 1999, Malak married his life’s lover, Jihan, who lived in the village of Yanuh, and on 9 June 2002 their son, Adam, was born. He was very cheerful, optimistic and helpful to all, was very proud of his successful young family, and made plans for the future, and all his plans were cut off when he died on December 10, 2002. On December 10, 2002, Malak fell in a road accident on the Jordan Valley road. Malak was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in the village of Yanuh-Jatt, leaving behind a wife, son, parents and four brothers.
