Amazleg, Nissim
Son of Aharon and Rachel. Born in 1924 in Marrakech, Morocco, he studied at an elementary school there and worked as a porcupine and a decorator in the city of Casablanca, where the family settled while he was a youngster, and in the summer of 1948 he evaded his home and left the Diaspora on his way to Israel. . Remained in service even after the fighting ended and on April 20, 1949 he fell in battle around Dweima. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Rehovot.
