Amar, Rafael
Son of Shlomo and Jeanette. He was born on April 22, 1951, in Paris, France. Immigrated with his family to Israel in 1955 via Morocco. He completed his studies at the Brenner Institute at Tel Hashomer and at the ORT vocational high school in Abu Kabir, Jaffa. He was kind, liked the company of people and was always willing to help them. He was loyal and kind to his friends, who spent time with youth clubs. He was also an avid fan of football. Rafael was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of January 1971 and on 2/3/1971, after two and a half months, died during his service as a result of illness, after being hospitalized for two weeks. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
