Amar, Monir

Monir, son of Chana and Sabri Amar. Munir was born on September 9, 1968. He grew up in Julis, was the son of a large family with thirteen brothers and sisters. On May 4, 1986, Munir joined the IDF, served in the infantry corps, completed an officers’ course, and continued to serve in the army for many years, during which he advanced to the rank of Brigadier General and served as head of the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria. Monir died on March 25, 2016. He was laid to rest in the Julis cemetery, leaving a wife, two sons and a daughter, a mother, eight brothers and four sisters.
