Amar, Israel

Son of Levi and Leah. He was born in 1934 in Salonika, Greece, where he was among the partisans during the Second World War, but later immigrated to Israel in 1947. He began studying at a school in son of-Shemen and after completing his studies, Who was drafted into the IDF in 1952. He was a good man, friendly and resourceful. He was called to reserve duty and was in this framework before the Six-Day War, until on the third day of the battles, he was on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (7.6.1967), fell in a battle that took place in Tel Dan directly hit by the Syrians. He laid a little girl. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahariya and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Haifa.
