Amar, Hananiah
Son of Masoud and Rachel. Born in 1936 in Casablanca, Morocco, he studied for eight years in a religious institution of the local community, and after his immigration to Israel he found work in tailoring and was drafted into the Border Police in November 1952 and volunteered as a model for his comrades-in-arms. On December 28, 1953, Miriya, who came from the Jordanian border and was brought to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, fell on guard duty.
