Son of Aslan and Janet. He was born on September 5, 1955 in Kfar Shalem, south of Tel Aviv. From there the family moved to Kiryat Shalom. He attended elementary school at the Remez School in Tel Aviv. Jacob was a handsome-looking, kind child, loved by all the family and neighbors. After basic training, he was trained as a truck driver, and the committee was assigned to work in the parachuting and flying school unit. The commander of the unit: “I knew him as a soldier in the unit, and he caught my attention in his booming voice, which was in total contradiction to his physical proportions. In the course of our joint work, I knew only satisfaction and contentment: He was a person who did not speak very much, but when he was talked about, he was able to express himself as an adult, and his words Were full of content and testified to life experience. ” Jacob was very satisfied with his work in the army. But it did not last long. On February 26, 1975, he was injured in an accident and he fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents, five sisters and three brothers.
