Almoznino, Leon (Aryeh)


Son of Moshe and Simi. He was born on March 20, 1931, in Safi, Morocco, where he studied in an elementary school of “Kol Israel Haverim.” After completing his eight grades he began to bear the burden of living and found his bread as a carpenter and builder. As a sportsman, he was a member of the Zionist movement and was in constant contact with everything that was going on in the country, and he tried to immigrate to Israel, but he was caught by the Arabs who tormented him and brought him back to Morocco, his country of origin.
