Almakayes, Pinchas

Son of Yehuda and Simi. Born in 1953 in Marrakesh, Morocco, he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1963. He studied at the Karo Elementary School and continued at the Beersheva Comprehensive High School. Pini was a diligent student and excelled in literature. He was a sports fan and loved to play football. He had a collection of stamps and used to devote most of his spare time to him. He was Simcha, friendly and loved to help others. son of is loyal and devoted to his parents and cares for his well-being. After graduating from high school, he took part in Maccabi Beer Sheva soccer team. Pinchas was drafted into the IDF in August 1972 and assigned to the Engineering Corps, where he completed his army training and was sent to serve in one of the units as a pilot, and was an excellent soldier, responsible and dedicated to his job, Yom Kippur participated in leaving bridges and crossing the canal to the west side.
