Alma, Shagau

Shagau, son of Tagieto and Adana Alma, was born in Ethiopia in 1979. His mother died in Ethiopia when he was about a year old and later his father was married to Dabishi, and in the years to come they had six children. The family immigrated to Israel in May 1991. Shagau joined the IDF on July 6, 1999. In December 1999, he successfully completed a heavy driving course and served as a driver and a quartermaster at the brigade headquarters in the north of the country. Shagau fell during his service on February 27, 2000. He was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the cemetery He left a father, four brothers and two sisters.
