At every free moment he would visit the mother, who was in poor health and help her as much as he could. A lot of joy was given to her in his rapid progress in work and in the two lovely children, Sigal and Shmulik, who grew up with boundless love. A man who lived in peace with the whole world-that was how his relatives and friends and the people who worked with him knew him. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, Uzi was sent with his unit to the battle zone in Sinai.
