Son of Menashe and flourished. He was born in Baghdad in 1932 and graduated from elementary school in 1951. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. He was drafted into the IDF in 1951 and served in the Givati Brigade. During his service he married a wife. He loved military life very much and wanted to join the regular army, but because of his wife he did not. After his regular service he began to work in the Ministry of Education (in schools in Jaffa) and was employed there until his last day. He was very devoted to his family and always bothered to promote the family. He managed to set up a good house for her. He was naturally very sociable, friendly, cheerful, and Simcha to help others. He was busy working, supporting his family and helping his children study. He loved talking and arguing about politics, army and security. As a reservist he participated in the Sinai Campaign and later in the Six-Day War. He then served in Sinai, in the southern sector of the Suez Canal. Crimean did not enjoy much of life and found the bulk of his joy in his family. He longed to celebrate with his wife the day their son came to the mitzvah, but he did not receive it either. Light on the 16th of Mershvan, 5771 (14.11.1970) fell while fulfilling his duties and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left a wife and three children. The commander of the company sent a letter of condolence to his wife, noting that Crimm “served in our unit for twelve years and during this period participated in the unit’s wars and active service in the cease-fire lines.
