Alfasi, Sammy (Shlomo)

Sammy, son of Mazal and Hananiah Alfasi, was born in Kiryat Gat in 1965. Sammy was drafted to the IDF and served in the maintenance corps. At the end of compulsory service he continued to serve in the army, and married Shoshana. Sammy fell in the line of duty on February 24, 2009, after an illness. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Dimona. He left a wife and two daughters, a mother, five brothers and three sisters.
