Aldecse, Jamil


Ben Priza and Sa’ad. Jamil was born in Daliyat al-Carmel on 4 April 1944. He had two brothers, an abuser and Fuad, and two sisters, Raqad and Padwa. He grew up and was educated in Daliyat al-Carmel. Jamil was a farmer, as was the tradition of his family, a simple and good man who loved the manual labor and made a living as a laborer, mainly in the Atlit area. He was married to Henia and the father of Gemila, Adiv, Hadia, Rafka and Rafi. His main hobby was soccer, and he played a lot in the neighborhood with his friends at every opportunity he had. In October 1967, Jamil joined the Israel Prison Service. He served in various security positions in the units of Ramle, Nablus, Be’er Sheva and Damon Prison. Jamil was known by the IPS as a socially active type, and was a favorite among both prison guards and prisoners, and he wore the seniority certificate, and his last rank was Sergeant Jamil served in the Prisons Service until his dying day. On Wednesday, January 12, 1983, Sgt. Jamil died after a long battle with cancer. Jamil was thirty-nine when he fell. He was brought to rest in the cemetery in Daliyat al-Carmel. Survived by his wife and five children, brothers and sisters.
