Album, Natan-Yosef
Natan-Yosef, son of Chava and Yaakov-Yehuda Album, was born in 1921, in Ausbrück, Germany. He immigrated to Palestine with his parents in 1933. He grew up in Petach Tikva. Natan-Yosef participated in the first battle on Latrun, in Arab Kfar Saba and then on the front of Majdal-Rosh Ha’ayin, and two days before his death he was stung by a scorpion, and even though he did not recover from this sting he remained in the camp and went out to help his comrades. His company replaced another company from the brigade in the posts east of Kula. The following morning the Legion forces attacked the outpost. In this battle he fell, on the 9th of Tammuz (July 16, 1948). He left behind a wife. Natan-Yosef was buried in a mass grave in Netanya.
