Albala, Yitzhak-Yosef (“Itzik”)


Son of Abraham and Leah (Liza). He was born on April 2, 1939 in Tel Aviv. After completing his studies at the Tachkemoni elementary school in Tel Aviv, he studied briefly at the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva. He then took a carpentry course in the vocational education department of the Ministry of Labor. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1957 and after compulsory service he joined the regular army, fell during his duty on Thursday, 30.5.1960, and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. On the eve of Shavuot 5721, on the first anniversary of his death, a booklet was published in his memory
