Son of Yehoshua and Esther. Fifth generation in Israel. He was born on January 20, 1939, in Binyamina, where he studied at the “Amal” school in Hadera and worked as a mechanic in the Nachlat Jabotinsky Garage in Binyamina, belonged to the Maccabi, was a good-natured, cheerful spirit and known with his friends as a peace-maven, showed great inclination and love for music and fell in battle with the enemy on Mount Scopus on the 8th of Sivan 5708 (26.5.1958) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Binyamina. After his death, in July 1958 he was awarded the Chief of Staff’s Citation under the Israel Defense Forces Medal of Honor. His memory was mentioned in the book “The Paratroop Wars” by Uri Milstein.
